Accounts Receivable Associate

Dover, OH

The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for processing payments, autopays, and reconciling various reports. This position will also serve as a mail courier by organizing and delivering mail on a daily basis to and from various locations and the post office. This position is also responsible to assist customer service as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Minimum of 1 year, preferred 3 years previous related experience.
  • Preferred previous data entry and accounts receivable experience.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Process payments and post to customer accounts.
  • Process autopays and correct as needed.
  • Assist with reconciling credit cards and other reports.
  • Serve as back up for Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
  • Research unapplied payments.
  • Assist with customer phone calls for customer service as needed.
  • Organize materials to be delivered each day.
  • Responsible for all phases of mail including processing intercompany and outbound mail.
  • Operate electronic postage system.
  • May handle confidential and/or high value documents.
  • File for long term storage, recycling, and shredding as required by company and legal policies.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Accounting Department and the Controller to assist in desired financial reporting.
  • Regular attendance consistent with the Company Attendance Policy and work load associated with job duties.
  • All other duties as assigned by management

Schedule: Day shift | Monday to Friday | Weekends as needed
