With a growing fleet and a team of dedicated professionals, we are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Safety Admin to strengthen our safety program and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Position Summary:

The Safety Admin will be responsible for compiling the DOT (Department of Transportation) files and creating the training files for newly hired CMV drivers.

DOT:

Maintains DOT files including mailing previous employment verifications, physicals, drug screens and Medical Certification cards.

  • Maintains training files and records and notifies managers and/or supervisors when expirations dates are coming due, including updating new hire training tracker and incident logs (merged for the last 4 years).
  • Processes, reviews, and records annual MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) records.
  • Tracks and monitors Daily Driver Logs and hours.
  • Coordinates random drug screenings per Company and DOT regulations.
  • Maintains incident files, spreadsheets, Access databases, and Driver discipline and remedial tracking.
  • Coordinates MSHA training, including refresher, new miner, and foreman first aid tracking and coding.
  • Assists in preparing materials for weekly and monthly Tailgate Talks for drivers, mechanics, mining, and recycling plant, recording records of participation by employees.

Safety:

General:

  • Performs a variety of support duties which may include; maintaining department records, compiling data for preparation of reports, entering information into databases, and sorting and/or filing.
  • Tracks and maintain boot stipend policy for employees and schedules dates for boot trucks at each location.
  • Regular attendance consistent with the Company Attendance Policy.
