Fleet Mechanic- 2nd Shift

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to join our team and help keep our vehicles and equipment operating safely and efficiently. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and complete timely repairs to support daily operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety procedures, and communicates effectively with team members.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of diesel fleet vehicles and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, fluid checks, tire services, and tune-ups.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and testing methods.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Document work performed, parts used, and service recommendations accurately.
- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize repairs to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Order or recommend parts and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company policies, maintenance procedures, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in vehicle maintenance or mechanical repair preferred.
- Working knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with commercial vehicles, trucks, trailers, or heavy equipment.
