Wash Bay Attendant
A Wash Bay Attendant is responsible for cleaning andmaintaining vehicles, equipment, or machinery using wash bay tools andequipment. This role ensures vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, presentable, andready for use while maintaining a safe and organized wash area.

2nd Shift is 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and clean vehicles, trucks, trailers, or equipment using pressure washers, hoses, and cleaning agents
- Remove dirt, grease, mud, and debris from exterior surfaces, wheels, and undercarriages
- Apply soaps, degreasers, and protective treatments as required
- Dry vehicles and perform basic detailing tasks such as wiping surfaces and cleaning windows
- Inspect vehicles for damage or issues and report them to supervisors
- Maintain wash bay equipment including pressure washers, and hoses
- Ensure wash bay area remains clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
- Assist with moving vehicles or equipment in and out of the wash bay when needed
- Dispose of waste water and cleaning materials according to environmental guidelines
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to operate pressure washers and basic cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in wet and physically demanding conditions
- Good time management and efficiency
- Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
- Basic communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in wet environments
- Bend, reach, and move around vehicles or equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous vehicle washing or detailing experience
- Experience working in a dealership, trucking company, or equipment yard
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and pressure washing equipment
